Charles Schwab wishes to rezone for a 855- unit development above the Kona airport and mauka <br /> of Queen Ka'ahumanu Highway. Developers originally promised to build UH facility, connector roads and <br /> infrastructure. At April 26, 2006 Public Hearing Developer and UH DO NOT have an agreement <br /> May 17 COUNCIL MEETING <br /> SUPPORT Bill 268 for equal number of Counil meetings in W.Hawaii. <br /> OPPOSE Bill 251 Stanford Carr, Kona Coffee Estates to rezone 97.347 acres of land above Lowe's. <br /> This would add to traffic on Queen Ka'ahumanu Hwy. and Kailua-Kona; there's not enough water, roads, or parks, <br /> there would be impacts to schools. <br /> OPPOSE Bill 247-- D. Smith, to rezone Ag. 20 acres to Family Ag. 3 acres in Kaloko. This would <br /> add to traffic on Mamalahoa Hwy. and Palani Road, create a dangerous intersection at Kaloko Dr., damage the <br /> forest, watershed, and endangered species. <br /> 2:00 PM - Bills for 2nd Readin <br /> OPPOSE Bill 246 to amend the-Subdivision Code. <br /> so County moves incomplete applications forward. <br /> Changes to the code must have full public participation and adhere to open-government policies. <br /> OPPOSE Bills 226 & 227 Lava Kuakini, applicant - to rezone for a townhouse off Kuakini Hwy. next to <br /> Hillcrest.
