No. 675Bi11 No. 217 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> TIME: 10:28 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 217, reports as follows: <br /> Bill No. 217, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 675, <br /> dated Januazy 27, 2006, amends Ordinance No. OS-87, as amended, the Capital Budget, ending <br /> June 30, 2006, by adding the following project: <br /> PARKS & RECREATION: <br /> <br /> Na`alehu Park Acquisition 110-599-5598.63 $1,200,000 <br /> Funds for this appropriation increase shall be provided from: <br /> General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund- $1,200,000 <br /> Fund Balance and/or other Sources <br /> Funds will be used for the Na`alehu Park Acquisition project. Na`alehu Park is the primazy <br /> recreational site in the town of Na`alehu containing ballfields, tennis and basketball courts, a <br /> comfort station, a community center and several smaller structures. This purchase is necessazy <br /> to ensure the park site is held in public ownership for continued public use due to the pending <br /> dissolution of the C.
