Holschuh, M.D~C 'J <br /> Council Member, District 1 <br /> RE: Rescission of Communication 717.62 (Bi11235, Draft 3) <br /> I would like to request withdrawal of Communication 717.62 (Bill 235, Draft 3), dated May 18, 2006. <br /> The reason for this withdrawal request is due to an error that was made in an effort to address needs <br /> within District 1. My Office was under the impression that a lifeguazd position needed to be created for <br /> the Department of Pazks and Recreation in order for hours at the Laupahoehoe Swimming Pool to be <br /> expanded to accommodate weekend swimmers. I was later informed, after initiating Communication <br /> 717.62 (Bill 235, Draft 3), that this position had already been accounted for in Draft 2 of Bi11235. Our <br /> effort was supposed to address a lack of lifeguard support at the Honoka` a Swimming Pool. I have <br /> addressed this issue, initiating a separate communication requesting an amendment to the budget for that <br /> purpose. <br /> Please rescind Communication 717.62 (Bi11235, Draft 3).
