Our anticipated cost and allocated budget was for $4.3 million; <br /> however the low bid came in at $4.63 million. <br /> In addition to a shortfall of $330,000, we would like to include $170,000 for the <br /> construction and installation of a fuel dispensing station to be shared by both the Fire <br /> and Police Departments and $500,000 as a contingency for possible change orders. <br /> Therefore, our total requests for additional funds amounts to $1 million.
