The property is located on the south side of Kona Palisade Subdivision, <br /> approximately 1,200 feet south of the Kaiminani Drive-Kakahiaka Street intersection, Ooma 1st, <br /> North Kona, Hawaii. <br /> <br /> The Commission concurs with the following Planning Director's reasons for recommending <br /> favorable consideration of the request: <br /> <br /> Effective September 22, 2004, the State Land Use Boundary was amended from <br /> Agricultural to Urban for the subject property under Ordinance No 04-105 and the <br /> property was rezoned from Agricultural 5-acre (A-5a) to Multiple-Family Residential <br /> 4,000 square feet (RM-4) under Ordinance No. 04-106 to allow the development of a <br /> 100-unit affordable housing project. <br /> <br /> The applicant has submitted a request to amend Condition H of Change of Zone <br /> Ordinance No. 04-106 to limit the improvement of the extension of Kakahiaka Street to <br /> <br /> Hawaii County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer <br />
