This coincides with the Merrie Monarch week
each year. Ours and the Wood turners show has the best

attendance during the year. I know ofonly one person who
teaches Hawaiian quilting and that is only for senior citizens at
Kamana Center. We have been asked time and time again by
the youngergeneradon if there are places where they could

learn the art ofHawaiian quilting, only to disappoint them with
the answer NO

What better place to teach than the new quilt shop. I am
certainly looking forward to the opening.

Mahalo and Aloha!

Roberta H. Muller

Comm. No. .7.
Ref. ToPr"
R,-f.
