An amendment also deleted the $1.5 million West Hawaii composting <br /> facility. <br /> These changes are all poor public policy. The fact that many East Hawaii residents are <br /> unaware of them may have led the Council to the erroneous conclusion that we don't <br /> care about these issues. My own Councilman, Dr. Fred Holschuh, continues to tell his <br /> constituents he supports public land purchases in our district when he voted to remove <br /> funds for that purpose. <br /> What the Tribune Herald refuses to do, the "coconut wireless" will remedy.
