<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED THAT THE AGREEMENT FOR <br /> PROVISION OF SERVICES DATED April 20, 2006, AS DESCRIBED ABOVE IS <br /> HEREBY AMENDED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The portion of the APS entitled "SECTION TWO" setting forth the <br /> SCOPE OF WORK and related funding shall be amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> "The COUNTY OF HAWAII agrees to supply such services as are <br /> necessary for the prompt and efficient delivery of services as required <br /> under the APS. The COUNTY OF HAWAII hereby agrees to perform <br /> and supply the following minimum and/or mandatory tasks, <br /> responsibilities, and services to the Pahoa Weed & Seed site. <br /> - Purchase law enforcement equipment: <br /> - Night vision monocular for police officers <br /> (1 @ $900) <br /> - Portable screen (2 @ $300 = $600) <br /> - Laptop computers for police officers and <br /> prosecutors (4 @ $1,875 = $7,500) <br /> - Surveillance cameras and support equipment <br /> ($7,500) <br /> Total Law Enforcement Equipment $16,500 <br /> - Utilize funds designated for law enforcement as noted in the <br /> approved attached proposal: <br /> Police Overtime ($40/hour x 250 hours = $10,000) <br /> Community Policing/School Resource Officer <br /> overtime ($35/hour x 100 hours x 2 = $7,000) <br /> Total Overtime $17,000 <br /> - Buy Money (CORRECT AND AMEND) $15,000 <br /> TOTAL $48,500" <br /> <br /> IT IS FURTHER UNDERSTOOD AND AGREED THAT this AMENDMENT <br /> NO. 1 is supplemental to the AGREEMENT FOR PROVISION OF SERVICES DATED <br /> April 20, 2006, and all terms, conditions, recitations, provisions and covenants contained <br /> in the AGREEMENT FOR PROVISION OF SERVICES DATED April 20, 2006, unless <br /> specifically modified, altered, and changed herein, continue to remain in full force and <br /> effect as of the date first written in the APS. <br />
