Mr. Safarik stated there may be an opportunity <br /> <br /> to move it forward and then review it when it comes to full council. <br /> Council Member Jacobson stated he has known Ms. Lockwood for many years, that she has been deeply <br /> involved in Volcano community, is well known, and her husband works for Volcano Observatories. Mr. <br /> <br /> Jacobson doesn't think Ms. Lockwood would have volunteered to serve if she couldn't put in the time. <br /> <br /> He suggested this be matter be moved forward and this applicant approved. Mr. Jacobson concluded he <br /> <br /> has no doubt in his mind this woman is highly ethical, doesn't have any conflicts of interest, and her <br /> commitment to the community is unquestionable and he speaks strongly in favor of her appointment. <br /> Your Committee on Planning is in accord with Mayor Kim's appointment of Ms. B.
