It feels as if we are being manipulated when the council does otherwise. I <br /> have driven over to Hilo and found the item I was interested in had been postponed or the venue changed so I <br /> had to leave before it came up before the council. It only takes a few of these to realy upset a taxpayer. Taxation <br /> without representation is the main item. I for one ,favor putting our <br /> ( West Hawaii ) property taxes in an escrow account until the Hilo council starts to listen to Kona.
