Div w. <br /> ,r. ~ <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> ~~~%'a.ra:. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. nn~c~ <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br /> WHEREAS, Ready to Learn is a statewide program to provide Hawai`i's need children <br /> <br /> with basic school supplies to give them a "jump start" on learning; and <br /> WHEREAS, Helping Hands Hawaii, located on Oahu, administers the Ready to Learn <br /> <br /> program and in 2005 social service agencies where notified that school supplies could not be <br /> <br /> provided to the neighbor islands; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Neighborhood Place of Puna, is organizing efforts to raise funding to <br /> provide school supplies for children in the Puna District and social service agencies serving <br /> families throughout East Hawaii; and <br /> WHEREAS, a $2,000.00 appropriation will be administered by the Office of the <br /> Prosecuting Attomey, which will grant the funding to the Neighborhood Place of Puna, a <br /> Hawaii non-profit organization, for the purchase of school supplies for children. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY <br /> OF HAWAII that the following amount be and is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth <br /> below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $2,000.00 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $2,000.00 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.271.5271.66 Prosecuting Attorney-Weed and Seed $2,000.00 <br /> Coordinator-CTY <br /> (Neighborhood Place of Puna) <br /> <br />
