Draft 2 states that the new meeting schedule shall <br /> remain in effect for at least one year, subject to possible Council review in December 2007. <br /> Draft 2 also states that videoconferencing shall be provided for all West Hawai'i meetings. <br /> <br /> The amendments proposed in Draft 2 are intended to give Council staff adequate time to <br /> allocate staff and resources for West Hawaii meetings. The amendments specify a start date of <br /> January 1, 2007, which gives Council staff at least five months lead time to budget for and <br /> implement the new meeting schedule and videoconferencing technology. <br /> I humbly request that you distribute the proposed Draft 2 of Resolution 402-06 prior to the <br /> July 19, 2006 Council meeting. <br /> <br /> If you have any questions regarding Draft 2, please do not hesitate to contact me. <br /> <br /> <br /> Att. <br /> <br /> <br /> PH/Ic Comm.
