Since the approval of <br /> the change of zone, the applicant has had a difficult time securing a viable tenant to <br /> occupy the property and has not been able to meet the time conditions within the <br /> ordinance. Recently, the applicant has been receiving many offers for the development <br /> and feels that with the change in the economy, he would like to proceed with the <br /> development. The reasons for the conditions not being met were not a result of the <br /> applicant's actions and were beyond the applicant's control. <br /> <br /> The General Plan Land Use Pattern Allocation Guide (LUPAG) Map designates <br /> the area for industrial uses.
