I like to thank you for the opportunity to hear my testimony in support <br /> of the negotiated pay package. <br /> My name is Albert Yoshida. Currently employed by the State of Hawaii, Department of <br /> Transportation, As a Harbor Police Officer. <br /> I represent a large group of Goverment Employees here and around our state that are <br /> HGEA. Unit #3 members. Hard to belive, But I am a Unit #3 member, Not SHOPO. <br /> During your last session on the pay package, A question was asked on position titles <br /> that would be mostly affected. Answer was Clerks and clerical staff, <br /> In majority this maybe true, but it affects many other positions in our Goverment. <br /> For example, My position and many others. <br /> This pay package was negotiated in good faith and money for this pay raise has been <br /> budgeted.
