?r or <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> .•'h a'w~'M <br /> BILL NO. 347 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE NAMING A COUNTY RECREATIONAL FACILITY <br /> <br /> (TMK: (3) 7-5-018:020) PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 15, HAWAI°I COUNTY CODE 1983 <br /> <br /> (2005 EDITION). <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. Findings and purpose. The purpose of this ordinance is to designate the name <br /> <br /> "Wai`aha Bay Beach Park" for that certain County recreational facility, identified by Tax Map Key: <br /> (3) 7-5-018:020, pursuant to Chapter 15, Hawaii County Code, which establishes guidelines for <br /> naming of such facilities. Section 15-67(a)(2)(A), HCC, provides that any "open area" County facility <br /> shall, inter alia, be named for its neighborhood, community, region, district or other identifying <br /> geographical location. The subject parcel is an open area park located in Kailua Kona. The site is <br /> located along Ali`i Drive. The name "Wai`aha Bay Beach Park" refers to the bay which the site <br /> surrounds. <br /> SECTION 2. Pursuant to Section 15-68 of the Hawaii County Code, that certain open area <br /> County park identified by TMK (3) 7-5-018:020 is hereby named "Wai`aha Bay Beach Park." <br /> SECTION 3. Section 15-68.1 of the Hawaii County Code shall be amended to add "Wai`aha <br /> Bay Beach Park" to the list of Kona parks. <br /> SECTION 4. In the event that any portion of this ordinance is declared invalid, such invalidity <br /> shall not affect the other parts of this ordinance. <br /> SECTION 5.
