~r or <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> •••~~Of M~~ <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 4~3 U6 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO <br /> A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br /> WHEREAS, Smart Signs encourages drivers to drive the speed limit by alerting them <br /> in real-time of their actual speed; and <br /> WHEREAS, Smart Signs not only reduce driving speeds, but also helps to protect the <br /> lives of motorists and pedestrians; and <br /> WHEREAS, Smart Signs are needed to control speeding on West Kawailani Street <br /> (makai bound) and on Ainaola Drive (before the curve below the Ainaola Drive-Haihai Street <br /> intersection); and <br /> WHEREAS, discretionary funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated for the <br /> purchase of two (2) Smart Signs. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII that the following amount is hereby transferred appropriated as set <br /> forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $20,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $20,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.801.5801.38 Department of Public Works $20,000 <br /> Transfer to Highway Fund <br /> (Traffic Division Equipment, Misc.
