qtr os M~ <br /> ~~~y <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> :r°~~~ <br /> RESOLUTION N0.436 06 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL YEAR <br /> AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR AMULTI-YEAR MAINTENANCE <br /> AGREEMENT FOR THE AUTOMATED BOOKING SYSTEM AT THE VARIOUS POLICE <br /> STATIONS THROUGHOUT THE ISLAND <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or other obligation <br /> requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year be <br /> approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, Sagem Morpho, Inc. has been providing the maintenance service of the automated booking <br /> system located at the Hilo, Kona, Puna, and South Kohala Police Stations for the past few years; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Hawaii County Police Department wishes to enter into afour-year maintenance <br /> agreement with Sagem Morpho, Inc. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into amulti-year agreement with Sagem Morpho, Inc. <br /> for the maintenance of the automated booking system. <br /> 2.
