The
parcel is currently leased to Parker Ranch under General Lease No. S-4465.

To protect these lands for these important public purposes, we request that the State
BLNR initiate the process to change the land zoning from "Ag-1 a" to a much larger
minimum lot size, such that the current use is able to be continued, but no building is
permitted on the property. This will prevent the future potential subdivision and
development of this important land.

Sincerely,

Kyle Kinoshita, Vice President
WAIMEA COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION
