Miv,o. <br /> • W!4 <br /> <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> . <br /> •N'~ <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 504 06 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br /> WHEREAS, the Hawaii Island Land Trust (HILT) is anon-profit organization located <br /> within the County of Hawaii; and <br /> WHEREAS, the HILT is an all-volunteer Board of Directors, which purpose is to work with <br /> the community to protect, preserve and manage lands, and <br /> WHEREAS, the HILT has received a "Challenge Grant" from the Hawaii Community <br /> Foundation to hire a director and support staff to works with private landowners, and County and <br /> State governments to preserve land in perpetuity through conservation easements and outright <br /> purchase; and <br /> WHEREAS, discretionary funds from District 7 will be appropriated to the Planning <br /> Department to be used as a grant towards HILT to start up new office operation. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF <br /> HAWAII that the following amount is hereby transferred and appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $5,000.00 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $5,000.00 <br /> <br />
