vv or <br /> ~ <br /> W <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 52'7 t;'6 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO <br /> A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br /> WHEREAS, the Christmas Wish Program is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization <br /> whose mission is to help families, especially the children, living in poverty; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Christmas Wish Program is helping to coordinate donations for <br /> the 3rd Annual Kea`au Christmas Light Parade, which is scheduled for Saturday, <br /> December 9, 2006; and <br /> WHEREAS, last year's parade was a great success with over 70 parade entrants; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Kea`au Christmas Light Parade is a family event that brings the <br /> entire community together in celebration and unity; and <br /> WHEREAS, throughout the day, there will be activities such as a Christmas wreath <br /> and ornament contest for all ages, a Christmas cookie contest, a gingerbread house contest, <br /> food booths, and various vendors selling their products; and <br /> WHEREAS, discretionary funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to the <br /> Department of Research and Development to be used as a grant to help cover the marketing <br /> costs for the 3rd Annual Kea`au Christmas Light Parade. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCII, OF THE <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII that the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated asset <br /> forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $1,000.00 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $1,000.00 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.161.5162.65 Department of Research and Development - $1,000.00 <br /> New Industry & Industry Development <br /> (3`d Annual Kea`au Christmas Light Parade) <br /> <br />
