No. 1098/Bill No. 343 <br /> <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> TIME: 9:00 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 343, reports as follows: <br /> Bill No. 343, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 1098, <br /> dated September 26, 2006, amends Ordinance No. 06-80, as amended, the Capital Budget, <br /> ending June 30, 2007, by adding the following project: <br /> PUBLIC WORKS: <br /> Traffic Signs and Markings for Road 110.399.5399.23 $600,000 <br /> Safety Improvements <br /> Funds for these projects shall be provided from: <br /> Highway Fund -Fund Balance and/or other Sources $600,000 <br /> This project provides the funding for new projects such as Safety Improvements Projects, <br /> redesign of existing roadway geometries, and pavement resurfacing requiring installation of new <br /> signage and thermoplastic reflective markings.
