We walked the Houselots neighborhood the <br /> week end of Nov.4 & 5 for approximately 9 hours and contacted many of the property owners in <br /> the area. It was clearly evident that greater than 90% of those we met opposed the townhouse <br /> project. <br /> The following are a result of our findings: <br /> 1) Map including area from Kekuanoa St. (West), Kalanikoa (North), E. Lanikaula <br /> (East), Hinano (South) <br /> Legend: <br /> a) Grey: Neutral (3 verbal, confirmed) <br /> b) Not colored: Property owners unresponsive or not contacted. <br /> c) Brown: Proposed site for rezoning <br /> d) Pink: Property owners opposed (>50 verbal and/or written, including <br /> Property owners who signed petition submitted previously by Mr. Nekoba) <br /> e) Green: Property owners support (11 written, as documented by Mr. Fuke) <br /> <br /> 2) Copy of >50 Letters of Opposition, by Property Owners and neighborhood <br /> residents, to the project. <br /> <br /> We hope that you, as representatives of people, will consider the neighborhood opposition <br /> to this rezoning project while making your decision to do the right thing for the quality of life of <br /> the people. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> <br /> Vicki Saito Abe <br /> <br /> Miriam Saito Uamakawa <br /> <br /> Pat Saito Toyama v <br /> <br /> Lloyd Nekoba <br /> <br /> Enclosures <br />
