Our mission of services and advocacy is focused on seeking help and
empowerment for those in greatest need.

Our agency recognizes that the island of Hawaii has been severely impacted by an
ongoing housing crisis. Despite this great need, options and facilities for homeless
individuals and feanilics am extremely limited.
We support the Office of Social Ministry's effrnu to establish a central facility with
services which would address some of the fundamental challenges faced by the homeless
(including access to storage lockers, shower facilities, case management, and much
more.) OSM is widely recognized throughout the community as a leader and innovator
in homeless outreach. They have been a valuable partner to our agency, particularly in
collaboration to serve the homeless families in our transitional housing prugrau.

We urge your support of this resolution, as it will help to launch this valuable and long
awaited project, providing productive solutions to address gaps in service for one of the
most intense needs facing our community.

Sincerely,

JulieNagasako T)on.
