~ r <br /> GOALS <br /> • To maximize choices of single family residential lots and/or housing <br /> for residents of the County. <br /> • To ensure compatible uses within and adjacent to single family <br /> residential zoned areas. <br /> • To provide single family residential areas conveniently located to <br /> public and private services, shopping, other community activities and <br /> convenient access to employment centers. <br /> POLICIES <br /> • Rural style residential agricultural developments, such as new small <br /> scale rural communities or extensions of existing rural communities, <br /> shall be encouraged in appropriate locations. <br /> • The County shall review and amend if necessary land use ordinances <br /> and codes to include considerations for rural style residential <br /> subdivisions in appropriate locations. Standards and criteria for the <br /> establishment of these areas shall be developed. <br /> STANDARDS <br /> • Areas shall have basic improvements and amenities necessary for <br /> immediate use. <br /> • Areas shall be limited to low density and medium density residential <br /> uses <br /> Surroundin zg oning and land uses: Zoning designation to the north is A-Sa, to the <br /> west is A-la: to the South is A-Sa with actual density of 8,000 s.f residential lots, <br /> <br /> and to the east is RS 10. <br /> Flood Insurance Rate Map Desi nagn tion: The property is designated "x" on the <br /> FIRM maps. <br /> <br />
