It Is UNSAFE. Other considerations may be viable.
We are not opposed to development, however, we, like the majority of our
neighbors, selected Malulani Gardens for many reasons, most of which
will be negated if the current proposal, as configured were approved.

That in itself is a hard pill to swallow, but palable only if the unsafe traffic
flow is reconfigured. Surely this is possible and should be seriously
considered.

Some of the issues would be property values, noise, dirt and all of the
adverse situations that accompany construction. Our preference would
be to have the developer provide access to the Kona Coffee Estates on
upper Pilani, away from the traffic congestion that already plagues the
area around Henry Street and the Queen's Highway. During commute
hours, it's almost impossible to get access from Malulani Gardens to the
Queen's Highway,.
It is our understanding that this has not been approved as we've voiced
our opinions in the past. It is somewhat surprising that here we are, back
where we started, possibly our statements have fallen on deaf ears.

Respec ul

Robert and Patricia Lee
Taxpaying Property Owners
75-237 Malulani Drive
Kailua-Kona, Hawaii 96740
