The Grantee shall give preference to the use of <br /> domestically produced and manufactured construction <br /> materials in the construction of sewage treatment <br /> works, in accordance with Section 215 of the Federal <br /> Water Pollution Control Act as amended, and the EPA <br /> implementing regulations and guidelines. <br /> The Grantee will enact and enforce in each jurisdiction <br /> served by the treatment works project, before the <br /> treatment works constructed with the Grant is placed in <br /> operation, a sewer use ordinance or other legally <br /> binding requirement which: <br /> 1) Sha11 prohibit any new connections from inflow <br /> sources into the sanitary sewer portions of the <br /> sewer system, and <br /> 2) Shall ensure that new sewers and connections to <br /> the sewer system are properly designed and <br /> constructed. <br /> <br />
