The Police Department, through the Department of <br /> Transportation Motor Vehicle Safety Office has been granted $30,500 <br /> to (1) purchase four (4) laser speed measuring devices, (2) purchase <br /> an Accidental Investigation Measuring System with options (total <br /> station), and (3) send a representative from the Police Department <br /> to the Collision Accident Reduction Effort (CARE) Conference. The <br /> original appropriation was for $20,000. <br /> Also enclosed is a resolution to transfer $17,500 from the Laser <br /> Speed Measuring Device Miscellaneous Contractual Services account to <br /> the Miscellaneous Equipment account to enable the Police Department <br /> to purchase the above equipment. <br /> S ould.you have any questions, please feel free to call. <br /> RRY A.
