'8 ~ <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br /> WHEREAS, the American Legion is an organization of wartime veterans created by an <br /> act of the United States Congress in 1919 with its membership being composed of veterans of all <br /> wars; and <br /> WHEREAS, the American Legion Kona Post 20 Womens' Auxiliary coordinate and <br /> host meetings, prepare educational materials, public announcements, special recognition <br /> presentations, organize members' participation and arrange transportation to and from veteran <br /> memorial services; and <br /> WHEREAS, discretionary funds from Council District 8 for $3,000.00 will be <br /> appropriated and used to help the American Legion Kona Post 20 Womens' Auxiliary defray <br /> costs of performing this much needed service to the Kona community; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> following amount is hereby transferred and appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $3,000.00 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> OI O.101.510I.91 Clerk-Council S VC -Contingency Relief $3,000.00 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.251.5251.39 Department of Liquor Control $3,000.00 <br /> Public Programs, Misc.
