'72 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDTTING SAME TO <br /> <br /> A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br /> WHEREAS, Kealakehe Project Grad is a community based non-profit organization <br /> comprised of Kealakehe High School students and their families, school staff and alumni, and <br /> local businesses and organizations; and <br /> WHEREAS, the mission of Kealakehe Project Grad is to promote safe driving and <br /> camaraderie for the Kealakehe High School graduating seniors and to provide afun-filled, <br /> drug and alcohol free celebration with food, entertainment and activates; and <br /> WHEREAS, objectives of Kealakehe Project Grad are to educate students and <br /> families about the consequences of drug and alcohol use and impaired driving, and ensure a <br /> safe and healthy alternative to the traditional graduation "party-hopping" that usually involves <br /> drinking, drugs and driving; and <br /> WHEREAS, discretionary funds from Council District 8 will be used to help fund <br /> Kealakehe Project Grad, and defray some of the cost and expenses associated with the event; <br /> now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`i that <br /> the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $6,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $6,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.251.5251.39 Department of Liquor Control $6,000 <br /> Public Programs, Misc.
