~v as <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII ! • STATE OF HAWAII <br /> .,~,N'+ <br /> FiS <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO <br /> A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br /> WHEREAS, cadets from the United States Army Junior Reserve Officers' Training <br /> Corps (JROTC) from participating Hawaii Island high schools will attend the Statewide <br /> Spring Camp at Schofield Barracks on Oahu in March 2007 and the Summer Leadership <br /> Training in Hilo; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Hawaii Island cadets will be trained by active duty forces in <br /> rappelling, constructing rope bridges, water safety and drown proofing, and leadership <br /> training courses while attending these programs; and <br /> WHEREAS, these programs teach cadets the value of citizenship, leadership, and <br /> personal responsibility, and motivate these young people to be better citizens; and <br /> WHEREAS, discretionary funds from Council District 8, in combination with funds <br /> provided by the United States Army, will be used to fund transportation costs for 70 Hawaii <br /> Island cadets to participate in the 2007 Spring Camp and Summer Leadership Training; now, <br /> therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $2,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $2,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.251.5251.39 Department of Liquor Control $2,000 <br /> Public Programs, Misc.
