AT 8IL0, HAWAI I <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> WHEREAS, applicant Hilo One, Inc. has requested to extend <br /> the sewer in accordance with Section 21-26, Hawaii County <br /> Code; and <br /> WHEREAS, applicant Hilo One, Inc. has proposed to comply <br /> with Section 21-28(a), Hawaii County Code regarding payment of <br /> costs; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Director of Environmental Management has <br /> recommended approval of the extension; and <br /> WHEREAS, Attachment "A" is an application from Hilo One, <br /> Inc. with construction plans as supporting documentation; and <br /> WHEREAS, sewer extensions are beneficial to the community <br /> by eliminating existing cesspools and reducing the amount of <br /> pollutants reaching the groundwater and the coastal waters, <br /> resulting in a cleaner, healthier environment; and <br /> WHEREAS, Section 21-26, Hawaii County Code, requires that <br /> the council approve all sewer extensions. <br /> <br />
