It has been several yeazs since I first met with <br /> representatives of the Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce about their desire to initiate a <br /> business improvement district to improve conditions in Kailua-Kona. We helped get the <br /> process rolling by providing $5,000 of the estimated $10,000 needed to take the first <br /> preliminary steps towards the creation of this district.
