„1V of y~ <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII ~ ~ STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 8S O'~ <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND <br /> <br /> FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br /> WHEREAS, the Neighborhood Place of Puna is the lead agency of the Puna "Ready to <br /> <br /> Learn" community collaboration; and <br /> WHEREAS, "Ready to Learn" is a statewide project with the goal of providing <br /> Hawai`i's children with the basic school supplies to get a jump start on learning; and <br /> WHEREAS, in 2006, school supplies were purchased and distributed to approximately <br /> 1,000 children at the Maku`u Farmers Market and at St. Theresa's Church in Mountain View; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, this year the goal is to purchase and distribute school supplies for 3,000 <br /> children in Pahoa, Kea`au and Mountain View; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $2,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC-Contingency Relief $2,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.271.5271.66 Prosecuting Attorney's Office $2,000 <br /> Weed & Seed -Coordinator/CTY <br /> (Neighborhood Place of Puna) <br /> <br />
