No. 149 <br /> PLACE: Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa <br /> 78-128 `Ehukai Street <br /> Kailua-Kona, Hawaii <br /> TIME: 2:03 P.M. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication No. 149, reports as follows: <br /> Communication No. 149, transmitted by Mayor Harry Kim, dated February 1, 2007, nominates <br /> Ms. Reiko Ford of Council District 7 to serve on the County of Hawaii Tax Boazd of Review. <br /> Ms. Ford would replace Mr. Michael B. Sumja, whose term expired on December 31, 2006. <br /> Ms. Ford is a six-yeaz resident of Hawaii. From 1970 to 2000 she was employed by the Miami <br /> <br /> Valley Regional Planning Commission as an accountant. Ms. Ford is a volunteer with VASH <br /> (Visitors Aloha Society of Hawai`i), and is a local tax aide coordinator for AARP. Ms. Ford <br /> states that she is not affiliated with any political party.
