This document is the <br /> foundation for all Consultant and construction contracts we process and administer. The current <br /> General Requirements document was published in July 1972. We would like at a minimum to <br /> make sure there are no conflicts between the State Procurement Law and our General <br /> Requirements. <br /> The City and County of Honolulu updated their General Requirements and Covenants with in- <br /> house personnel, soon after the State Procurement Law was issued. We do not have adequate <br /> personnel and expertise to accomplish this task without jeopardizing several on-going <br /> construction programs. If there needs to be additional justification for or explanation of the <br /> scope of this project, we will be happy to prepare whatever is needed to secure the necessary <br /> funding. <br /> If there are any questions, please call me at 961-8464. <br /> cc: ENG <br /> ADM <br /> I <br /> <br />
