LEGASPI <br /> SUBJECT: FAMILY VIOLENCE ADVISORY COMMISSION (FVAC) <br /> This commission will officially be created by ordinance by the <br /> end of August, 1997. <br /> This nine-member body will be administratively assigned to the <br /> Mayor's Office and members will be in place effective <br /> January, 1998. <br /> Funding for its annual operation will be $8,000. For the six <br /> months in FY 1997-98, it will need $4,000. <br /> Mayor Yamashiro has directed this amount come from the fund <br /> balance account. <br /> Please advise as to how this will be accomplished.
