Pete Hoffinann, Council Chair <br /> and Council Members <br /> April 18, 2007 <br /> Page 2 <br /> ii At the time of plan approval, pursuant to section 11-9(b), <br /> the affordable housing requirement shall be based upon <br /> ten full-time equivalent iobs per acre, or one per 1,000 <br /> sguaze feet of dross floor azea, whichever is ereater, <br /> provided that the administrator, after consultation with <br /> the planning director, shall adiust the number of iobs <br /> based on proof that the actual number of iobs created will <br /> deviate from this standard, and provided that in that case, <br /> the affordable housing requirement shall be reassessed if <br /> the use is chaneed. <br /> iii The applicant may also satisfy the affordable housine <br /> requirement at the time of final subdivision approval for <br /> all or a portion of the lots created within the rezoned area, <br /> provided that in that case, the applicant shall be required <br /> to earn one affordable housing credit for every ten full- <br /> time equivalent iobs created, based on ten full-time <br /> 9uivalent iobs per acre. <br /> iv When an applicant presents its plan for satisfyine an <br /> affordable housine requirement, it shall have an <br /> opportunity to demonstrate that current economic <br /> and housine conditions in the reeion surroundine its <br /> development do not warrant the imposition of the <br /> above-stated eeneralized requirements. The County <br /> housine aeencv shall consider such conditions in <br /> determinine whether lesser requirements are <br /> warranted because of a lower demand created by that <br /> particular development or because of sufficient supply <br /> in the area. The County housine aeencv shall also <br /> take into account the extent to which the imposition of <br /> these requirements on private industrial <br /> developments and not upon exempted State industrial <br /> lands that may create an unequal competitive <br /> situation for new development." <br /> <br /> Jl'/dwe <br /> <br /> Attachment <br /> <br />
