(Dt~' z) <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE 14 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY <br /> CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION) AS AMENDED, BY ADDING A NEW SECTION RELATING <br /> <br /> TO AUTHORITY OF THE MASS TRANSIT AGENCY. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`L• <br /> SECTION 1. Chapter 2, Article 14, Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition) is amended <br /> <br /> to add a new section to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: <br /> 2- Authority to adopt rules and regulations <br /> The agency is authorize to adopt reasonable rules and regulations as the agency <br /> deems necessary for the administration of the conduct of the agency's business, <br /> includine rules and regulations for fees and charees for permits for interior <br /> advertisements on buses. Rules shall be promulgated pursuant to Chapter 91, <br /> Hawaii Revised Statutes, as amended. <br /> SECTION 4. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is <br /> underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed and stricken material and <br /> underscoring need not be included. <br /> SECTION 5. If any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof to any person or <br /> circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the <br /> ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, <br /> the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br /> SECTION 6.
