Growth in the South Kona area was causing problems when <br /> the report was written in 1977, now 30 years later, many of these problems have still not been <br /> addressed. This study is illustrative of the island-wide problems of flooding and on pages 11, 12, <br /> and 13 has information regarding Floodplains with a diagram on page 12 that clearly illustrates <br /> the 100 year floodplain.
