The <br /> purpose of this resolution was to use Discretionary funds from Council District 6 and <br /> appropriate it towards the much needed repairs for the Kama'oa Road in Ka'u. <br /> Enclosed are two (2) companion bills for ordinances for the Kama`oa Road repairs. The first <br /> bill transfers the $50,000 to the Transfer to Capital Projects Fund for the Highway Fund and <br /> the second bill appropriates the funds into a new CIP project titled Road Repairs in Ka`u <br /> District. <br /> Because the funds need to be appropriated before the June 30, 2007 lapsing date, the <br /> Department of Public Works is requesting a waiver from the Finance Committee and have <br /> these bills heard at the next Council meeting scheduled for June 1, 2007. <br /> If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Department of Public Works. <br /> William akaba <br /> Director of Finance <br /> APPROVED: <br /> C~~?~ <br /> Harry Kim <br /> Mayor Comm.
