We request your support and the support of your fellow Finance Committee members in the passage of the above-referenced Resolution. The HGEA initiated the negotiation process for the 2007-2009 Agreements in the Spring of 2006. We proceeded through negotiations, impasse and even arbitration hearings on behalf of all of our bargaining units before reaching final negotiated settlements for Units 02, 03, 04, and 13. Those settlements were all agreed to by the Employer of each jurisdiction, including Mayor Kim. All of the settlements were ratified by, in excess of, 90% of our voting members. We respectfully request that you pass Resolution 186-07 to appropriate the funding for the Unit 02, 03, 04 and 13 agreements. S~ cer y, j' Ralp C.
