The amendments increased the estimated revenues and <br />appropriations by $3,493,596 to $368,660,576, 1% higher than the budget proposal <br />submitted on May 4, 2007. <br />To summarize, the General Fund amendments: (1) increased Revenue -Fund Balance <br />from Previous Year by $3,841,605, (2) decreased Revenue -Marijuana Eradication by <br />$529,000, (3) increased Office of the County Clerk by $2,334,660, (4) increased Election <br />Division by $26,052, (5) increased Automotive Division by $90,000, (6) increased <br />Engineering Division -FIRM by $500,000, (7) decreased Police Department by $582,000, <br />(8) increased Fire Department by $89,000, (9) increased Civil Defense Agency by <br />$325,000, (10) increased Office of the Prosecuting Attorney by $92,180, (11) increased <br />Grants To Nonprofit Organizations by $600,000, (12) increased Elderly Activities <br />Division by $26,310, (13) increased Department of Parks and Recreation by $80,000, <br />(14)increased Transfer to Cap Proj Fund -G by $450,000,(15) decreased Transfer To <br />Budget Stabilization Fund by $1,000,000, (16) increased Transfer To Highway Fund by <br />$210,000, and (17) increased Employee Benefits and FICA by $71,403. <br />The Highway Fund amendments increased Revenue -Fund Balance from Previous Year <br />by $180,991, increased Revenue Transfer from General Fund by $210,000, increased <br />appropriation to Traffic Division Equipment by $210,000, and Highway S&W, <br />Equipment and Employee Benefits by $180,991. <br />Comm.
