In <br /> discussing this with the Wastewater Division staff it was explained that rates were increased <br /> early this yeaz by our County Council. I seemed to have missed this, I guess it was because I did <br /> not realize how lazge my bill would be due to the utilization chazge. <br /> I would like to negotiate a partial exemption for the following items: <br /> 1) Imgation-We live on the Kona side in the driest area of town. We do not get regulaz rain fall <br /> and have to rely on irrigation. It is not practical to put in a sub-meter for irrigation purposes as <br /> the cost of adding a meter and the cost of redoing the whole irrigation system is prohibitive. <br /> 2) Koi Pond- We have a lazge Koi pond that we keep clean and backwash on a daily basis. This <br /> pond requires continual maintenance and the backwashing impart of that maintenance. <br /> 3) Caz Washing- We have three very nice cazs that I keep immaculate. I wash these cazs at least <br /> weekly if not more frequently.
