I <br /> have been fortunate to have spent many, many wonderful and significant hours along the <br /> undeveloped Ka'u coast for 27 years now, and have been active in supporting the efforts to <br /> <br /> preserve and protect this world-class area from development. It is not the place for <br /> large-scale development, and 2 have been heartened by the groundswell of diverse <br /> grassroots citizen efforts to bring the issue to the council and elsewhere. Please give <br /> the people and their descendants a huge gift by passing this resolution.
