Punaluu is cleazly a vital natural, cultural and economic resource for <br /> Ka'u and for all of Hawaii. It would be a shame to give away such a treasure for short term gain. <br /> Overdevelopment of Punaluu is clearly the first step towazd gentrification (inflated property values, <br /> onerous taxes, loss of home). The only people who stand to gain are the developers.
