However, I am in agreement that there should be a periodic and <br /> documented test of the restoration process, to insure data integrity and reliability <br /> on its retrieval. We will implement a quarterly process to randomly restore files <br /> and folders, and document the results. <br /> With regards to the improvement of the backup tape log, we will improve the <br /> details of the backup tape information to include the storage location. However, <br /> in your recommendation you recommended "...to provide the users with a current <br /> inventory...". As a matter of data security, we deem this information as sensitive <br /> and confidential, and not necessary for the end-user to know the backup tape <br /> location or its contents. <br /> We appreciate the suggestions for improvement and will implement the <br /> ~ recommendations immediately. <br /> ¦ <br /> w Hawaii Counry is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer <br /> w <br /> r <br /> <br />
