Too much shoreline development has been and is being allowed on <br /> <br /> the West side of the Big Island, to the detriment of the environment and our quality of life. Steps must <br /> <br /> be taken now to protect our natural resources for future generations, for the enjoyment of all. It is very <br /> difficult to "undo" development and restore depleted resources. <br /> I am not against development itself.
