~~vw~ <br /> ~'y <br /> <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> ~~~0l~M•+ <br /> RESOLUTION NO. zn n'7 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br /> WHEREAS, the Real Women Creative Writing Competition celebrates National <br /> Women's History Month held in the month of March; and <br /> WHEREAS, communities nationwide recognize and celebrate the lives of women of all <br /> races, ages, cultures, ethnic traditions and ways of life; and <br /> WHEREAS, students from both East and West Hawaii honor the women in their family <br /> or in their community that have made a difference in their lives by writing an essay about them; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, at a luncheon hosted by the Committee on the Status of Women, the <br /> students, their "real women" nominees, their pazents, teachers, and principals aze honored; and <br /> WHEREAS, public, private, charter, and Hawaiian immersion schools aze all invited to <br /> participate in the contest; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 5 will be <br /> appropriated to the Office of Management to provide financial assistance to the <br /> Committee on the Status of Women, to be used towazds the Real Women Creative Writing <br /> Contest; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $2,500 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $2,500 <br /> <br />
