MtYw~ <br /> 'u4 <br /> <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> ~~ryww~~ <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 306 0'7 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br /> WHEREAS, the Teen Dating Violence Conference is to be held on October 18th and <br /> 19th, 2007; and <br /> WHEREAS, Dr. Jill Murray, a nationally recognized expert in the field of domestic <br /> violence, will be the keynote speaker; and <br /> WHEREAS, the conference hosted by the Committee on the Status of Women is <br /> important because abusive relationships are at an epidemic rate; and <br /> WHEREAS, there aze teens who believe that the abusive relationships they are in aze <br /> normal; and <br /> WHEREAS, one in three girls and one in five boys will be in a physically abusive <br /> relationship by the time they graduate from high school, according to the Committee on the <br /> Status of Women; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 5 will be <br /> appropriated to the Office of Management to provide financial assistance to the <br /> Committee on the Status of Women, to be used towazds the Teen Dating Peer Education <br /> Violence Conference; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> following amount is hereby transferred appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $15,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $15,000 <br /> <br />
