You know that any concerns <br /> brought forth at this time can be addressed by amendments. Perhaps it is now time to consider the realistic side rather <br /> than one driven by political favoritism. <br /> This is legislation for the people, for those less fortunate than you who need some help in their lives. The Mayor talks the <br /> talk on affordable housing but this is only political posturing and he has shown his true colors by vetoing even his own <br /> legislation. It was as inappropriate for a developer to call him before his decision as it was for him to accept the call for <br /> this gave the appearance of conflict of interest. Don't he a partner in that unfortunate incident. <br /> You know in your heart it is right to overturn his vetos. Please help the brothers and sisters who need some assistance. <br /> This is not about politics; this is about aloha for the Hawaiian `ohana, Island -wide. <br /> Please vote to override the Mayor's vetos of affordable housing bills. <br /> Mahalo nui loa, <br /> M.
